Peter Hill Design Scores District 196 Rebranding Project

As District 196 (Rosemount-Eagan-Apple Valley Public Schools), the 4th largest school district in MN, serving over 28,000 students, looks to the future, it seeks to align it’s visual identity and brand promise with the district’s beliefs and mission of educating students to reach their full potential. Peter Hill Design has been task with creating consistency across the district as a whole, developing an authentic brand promise and positioning, and aligning the new brand with the district’s strategic plan.

The project will consist of Research, Branding & Messaging, Creative Execution, and Communications Strategy & Launch Plan. The research portion will include gathering stakeholder input through meetings, focus groups and online surveys. Some of these stakeholders will be district staff, but also parents and community members. The research will lead into the creative work that will go through various rounds of reviews before the final new brand will be determined. The project is expected to take 8-10 months and will be unveiled in the fall of 2017.
