Peter Hill Design Receives Two Graphic Design USA Awards

Peter Hill Design was a recent recipient of two Graphic Design Awards from GD USA. The winning projects include an annual report for a local nonprofit and consumer pet packaging for an As Seen on TV product. GDUSA’s American Graphic Design Awards™ is the original competition for creative professionals, which was started over 5 decades ago. This year, roughly 10,000 entries were submitted and a highly selective 15 percent were recognized.

The design for Open Arms of MN’s 2014 Annual Report, a record-breaking year for the organization, was filled with infographics and large food imagery to show the breadth and impact of the organization’s work.

The K9 Collar packaging design educates the consumer on the first homeopathic dog collar, while incorporating the various dog images to differentiate between the three sizes of collars. The black and copper colors were used to distinguish the product from the typical pet accessories and mimic the color of the actual product inside the box.
