In the past four years, the firm has won 20 national awards from Graphic Design USA (GDUSA) for outstanding work. Peter Hill Design has also been a finalist for two consecutive years in a national holiday animated card competition for the legal community, and has been the only finalist from Minnesota. In 2014, HOW International Design Awards selected Peter Hill Design’s work for Open Arms MN as a Merit winner. In 2015, Megan Junius was named a Women in Business honoree by the Minneapolis - St. Paul Business Journal.
Our roots are in Minneapolis – the North Loop to be exact – and we are proud to hail from such a vibrant and creative community. This is also a community that gives back and as a small firm, we take pride in our ability to to work with various non-profits and offer a portion of our services as pro bono. We support various local nonprofits and arts organizations such as the Mill City Summer Opera, Open Arms of MN, JazzMN, American Cancer Society, and Youth Performance Company. In addition, over $100,000 has been raised in the past 5 years at the annual Peter Hill Foundation Golf Tournament, which supports the Evans Scholars Foundation and honors Peter Hill’s memory.
Founded in 1994, the agency has more than 20 years of experience building valuable brands, developing successful advertising campaigns and driving customers to take action using traditional channels and new technologies. Founder Peter Hill grew the agency to include a national client roster and award winning creative work. Peter recruited a team of talented designers who helped develop the firm’s reputation for excellence in branding, packaging and web design. In December 2010, Peter sold Peter Hill Design to long-time employee and art director, Megan Junius. Peter lost his battle with bladder cancer January 7, 2011. His spirit and courage inspired everyone around him, and the firm carries on his legacy today.
